THE PERFECT RECIPE
Last night I cracked out my trusty Paste Paper Recipe. I keep it stored in a large journal I made while in a “Journals of Belonging” class. (You can see the recipe in the fist photo)
While waiting for the water to boil, I began flipping through the pages, as it was a nice reminder to see how I had documented the week-long book binding experience. Each step of the process is described with photos and diagrams (some I haven’t referenced in a while) and then there were the class assignments. They were based on blind contour drawings, haiku poems, gratitude, feelings, and much much more. It reminded me how much I enjoy keeping a visual journal and made me want to get started again!
These images are a sampling of the pages in my big journal… You will see the recipe, some books made by others, sketches made by me, and some painting made by some of my inspirational students. All in all- GREAT MEMORIES! :)
Stay tuned for some past paper preview pics!
